Late evening arrival at the Mumbai airport or railway station. An assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast is booked for sightseeing where you are going to cover major Mumbai’s attractions such as Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Marine Drive, Vidhan Sabha, Malabar Hill and Dhobi Ghat..Spend the evening at leisure on the Choupatty beach. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, boards a flight to Mangalore. On arrival, hit the road to reach Bekal. Check- in at the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, explore Bekal Fort, the largest and a well-maintained fort in Kerala that is situated along the Arabian Sea. Visit the underground tunnels and the Observation. Overnight stay.
Post breakfast, begin your journalist towards Wayanad. In the afternoon, you will proceed towards Vythiri for visiting Lakkidi, located at an altitude of 700 m, it is the gateway to Wayanad and is one of the highest points at Wayanad as well. Enjoy the sight of the peaks, the water streams and the forests. Do not miss visiting the Pookot lake, surrounded by lush forests. You can enjoy boating, can visit the Children’s Park and the fresh water aquarium. Overnight in Wayanad.
On day, after breakfast you can do the activities of your interest. You can either go for trekking or you can explore the wildlife at the Wayanad wildlife Sanctuary. If there is still time, then you can also visit the Sentinal Rock Waterfalls in Soochippara. This is a special three-step waterfall at a height of 200 mts. You can enjoy a nature walk here. After breakfast, drive towards Kozhikhode (Calicut). On arrival, move to your hotel. Afterwards, proceed for a half-day sightseeing where you will cover Mananchira containing the palace tank transformed into an architectural marvel, Marine Life Aquarium, the jetties at Kozhikhode beach. Last visit of the day will be Kappad, the very place from which Vasco da Gama entered India. Stay overnight.
Do not miss an early morning visit Dolphin's point where you can observe dolphins playing in the water. After breakfast, set-off for Cochin (Kochi) by road. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. In the evening, you can simply relax or can visit the popular markets for shopping. Overnight stay.
Post breakfast, half of day 8 is for city tour where you are going to cover Kochi Fort for its European heritage, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis' Church, Dutch palace and the Jewish Synagogue. Later, drive towards Thekkady. Spend the evening in shopping at the handicraft and spice shops, starting from Kumily to Thekkady. Stay overnight.
Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Periyar Lake. Post breakfast, you can do several activities at the Periyar Tiger Reserve such as Nature Walk, Jungle Patrol, Bamboo Rafting, Border Hiking or a Bullock Cart ride. Overnight stay.
